Last updated 27 October 2026. This policy covers this website only. It describes what the site actually does. It has not been reviewed by an attorney.

The short version

We advertise with Google Ads, so every page loads Google's tag to see whether those ads work: it tells Google about visits that come from our ads, and when someone taps our phone number or sends the estimate form. Google may set cookies to do that. Apart from that, the only thing that collects anything is the estimate form, and only if you choose to send it.

What we collect, and when

The estimate form

The only thing on this site that collects information is the free-estimate form. If you choose to fill it in, it asks for:

• your name and phone number, which are required, because otherwise nobody can call you back;
• your email address and the job address, which are optional;
• whatever you type into the details box, and which boxes you tick.

Those details are sent to Barnes Hauling LLC as an email, through a form-delivery service called FormSubmit, so that we can contact you about an estimate. They are used for that, and for nothing else. We do not sell them, rent them, or pass them to anyone who is not working on your estimate.

We keep the emails for as long as we are dealing with your enquiry and our ordinary business records. If you want yours deleted, call (360) 742-6877 and ask.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like every web host, Cloudflare records ordinary server request information — IP address, browser type, which page was requested and when — as part of serving the site and protecting it from abuse. We do not have an analytics dashboard built on that data and we do not use it to build any profile of you.

Google Ads

Every page loads Google's tag (gtag.js) from Google's servers. It sends Google information about your visit, such as the page, your browser and device, your IP address and whether you arrived from one of our ads, and it may set cookies. If you tap our phone number or send the estimate form, it tells Google that it happened. It never sends what you typed: the form's contents come only to us. Google handles this under its own policy, how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can limit the ads Google shows you at My Ad Center, or block third-party cookies in your browser.

Links to other places

There are links on this site to Facebook. Following one takes you to a company we have no control over, and its privacy practices are its own. Nothing on this site loads content or scripts from Facebook — the links do nothing until you click them.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. There is no common standard for it, and Google's tag does not change what it does when it sees one, so this site behaves the same either way. To limit Google's ads, use My Ad Center or your browser's cookie settings (see Google Ads, above).

Your choices

For Google's ad measurement, use My Ad Center or block third-party cookies (see Google Ads, above). For the estimate form, the simplest control is not to fill it in: call instead. If you have sent the form and want to know what we hold, or want it deleted, call (360) 742-6877 or email barneshaulingandexcavating@gmail.com.

Ask us what we hold about you and we will tell you, and ask us to delete it and we will.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
